Charity Futsal Friendly - U13 Girls Elite Team

The Hershey Soccer Club is extremely proud of our U13 Girls Elite Team for organizing and running a Charity Futsal Friendly on January 27th that raised an amazing $4,501 for the Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center of Lancaster County. The team raised the funds by organizing an afternoon of futsal friendly games between local U8/U9 Girls and Boys teams, collecting donations from area businesses, restaurants and families for a silent auction while also running a concession stand for the players and families attending the event. The girls chose Schreiber Pediatric based on their friendship with Sophia Clay and her love for the aquatic therapy sessions provided by this amazing organization. The U13 Girls Elite Team would like to thank the parents, players and coaches of the local soccer clubs who participated, the many donors for the silent auction items and Soccer Shots for the wonderful facility. As parents and coaches we’re very proud to be part of this amazing group of girls. Great job team and good luck in your spring state cup and tournament play!
